Rosemary had a happy marriage to her husband George, working together at a south coast hotel. When George died she moved to Lyme Bay to retire. She has no children, but has instead devoted herself to rabbit keeping. Her favourite is a brown Flemish Giant called Pierre, who she often takes for walks on a lead.
